This is an exciting time to join our Trust.
Accordia Academies Trust includes Barrs Court School and The Beacon College. a new specialist 16-19 College for students with SEND and complex learning needs. In November 2022 Barrs Court was judged outstanding by Ofsted for a third time in a row.
As part of a strong team you will be building on the outstanding work that is already in place to enable and empower our pupils and students to be prepared for adulthood in todays society.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative class teacher and subject leader, who is a passionate advocate for SEND students. You will provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, stretching and challenge your pupils and students to reach their potential. You will ensure they feel confident about going out into the world and being extraordinary in life and in their future.
Experience with working with students with SEND is desirable but not essential, what is important is that you have the drive and creativity and the commitment to be a ‘make a difference’. You will be joining a strong established team and benefit from working in a vibrant, supportive environment where your skills and qualities will be highly valued and staff well-being and development is enshrined in the Accordia mission statement.
